The 12 inch record is a rare format nowadays, usually only found in the hands of collectors and dj's. At one time this was the main format around for music album releases. It provided artists and designs a massive space for visual play.

Due to its lengthy existence people have utilised it shape and material for many years such that is now hard to be truly innovative with the format. We decided to go down the road of simplistic shape and form. The title of the EP 'Circuito E Vida' simply means 'circle of life'. We were looking for something circluar to show through the hole in the sleeve such that it had some power and noticability in a dj's or collectors box. The most obvious and natural circle of life to us was the eye and was certainly effective with a giant eye peering out of dj boxs and spinning round the turntable.
